As part of the Real Jobs scheme in the Department of Graphic Communication & Typography, my classmate Emily Whiteside and I designed and painted a mural for Little Owls Pre-school. The pre-school wanted to give the fence a face lift, including the wendy house and incorporating the whole space to make a more engaging area for the children.

Peter Pan was chosen for the theme, creating a bold design that the children most likely knew and would inspire their imagination. The design includes part of the London skyline to help with their knowledge of the capital, letters to help with reading and writing, numbers to help with counting and ‘Chalkboard Bay’ to allow the children to interact with the design.
